Descriptive Appearance:
Russetpaw has a deep reddish-cinnamon colored pelt with dark mackerel tabby markings. Near his muzzle, neck, chest and underbelly he has a lighter ginger color. He is slightly smaller than average and has a lean- almost scrawny build. His fur isn't particularly long but it is quite thick. Russetpaw has sharp light green eyes which typically hold a stand-offish glare.

Descriptive personality:
To most, Russetpaw seems to just have a bad attitude, and to be fair, he is rather stubborn and doesn't take too kindly to authority, however, a lot of his reason for this is the fear that someone will hurt him and he'll have to make a run for it again. This fear also makes him closed-off and very observant, constantly trying to gauge the situation.
He takes high offense to any inequality or judgement, real or preserved, and can have quite the sharp tongue when fighting against such things. This not only applies to himself, but others as well. He often feels others are out to get him.

Russetpaw, despite his flaws, cares deeply for those around him, especially those he is close to, and is very noticeably more warm toward them and more inclined to listen. He is incredibly loyal to those few, and would fight to the end for them.
When he's comfortable with someone, he actually lets loose and has fun, roughhousing, hunting, or just exploring are some of his favorite activities to do with a trusted individual.

Born in a twoleg garden to two strays named Nutmeg and Charcoal, Russetpaw (originally named Rusty and still occasionally referred to as such by Nutheart) had a rocky start to life. Despite having the forest to play in and a warm garden to sleep in, not all was well, thanks to the tyrant known as his father, who was prone to angry outbursts that often ended in disaster for the small family. Around when Russetpaw was 4 moons old, Charcoal made a threat he couldn't take back and so Nutmeg grabbed him and ran for it, not too long after being found bloodied with a kitten by an Oakclan patrol.
Foxstar graciously allowed them to stay as members of the clan.
Nutmeg has since taken on the name Nutheart, for her kind nature, and is currently a permaqueen, although she's recently been joining patrols and trying to hunt.
