One line Description: A silvery grey tabby tom with fluffy long fur, mint green eyes, and a saber-toothed overbite.

Descriptive Appearance:
Cypresstooth has long, thick silvery gray fur that lightens to an almost creamy white on his cheeks, muzzle, throat and underbelly. He has dark grey tabby stripes. He has a heavier build and is slightly larger than the average cat, although not by very much at all. He has piercing minty green eyes and a saber-toothed overbite which cause him to have a lisp as a kit and young apprentice, although he has mostly been able to get rid of it. He can blend into stone and more grey-toned tree bark.

Descriptive personality:
Cypresstooth likes to present himself as stony-faced and serious, hardly casual with those he doesn't know, though those in his clan tend to see a bit more of his stubborn attitude when he thinks he knows best. They also get to see his quiet acts of care, however. He makes sure the apprentices get enough food once the queens, kits, and elders have had their share, helps unprovoked when he sees a clanmate in need, and tries to keep the more reckless in check so they don't get hurt. This, of course, is still mostly done with an ever stony face and a steady "it's nothing."

However, this care doesn't always extend to Cypresstooth himself. He'd put himself in harm's way if it meant keeping a clanmate alive and well, and will go hungry in desperate times to feed a fellow warrior.
He can also be fairly argumentative, although mostly when it comes to what he thinks would be best for the clan as a whole. He takes his status as a warrior serious and tries his best to keep his clan safe, even against it's own members.

During battle, he is fierce and powerful, and often takes it upon himself to be in the front lines. He'd lay down his life for his clan and he isn't afraid to show it. If a clanmate looks worse for wear in battle, Cypresstooth will protect them, even if it means gaining some new scars. Some who have fought against him may see him as brute.
When more stealth is required, he knows where he blends in best and tends to go toward ash trees or cliff faces.

Born to Nettleheart and Wolfstep under Dawnstar's lead, Cypresstooth and his siblings lead normal kithoods and eventually apprenticeships, at least, they did until their father stumbled into camp bloody and disoriented after being attacked by a fox. He didn't even get to the medicine cat's den before succumbing to his injuries.
Cypresstooth was hit hard by his father's death, barely eating and either sleeping in all day or not sleeping at all. He almost failed his assessment, but somehow he was able to succeed and gain his warrior name.
It took another few moons for him to really start digging himself out of the hole he was trapped in.

And then Dawnstar vanished.

This kicked him into overdrive, always trying to put himself between his clanmates and any dangers they may face, constantly scared to loose another.
While he has calmed over the past 10 moons, he's still very protective of his clanmates and family, and he's still haunted by those he's lost in the past every time he tries to sleep.
