One line Description: A brownish-gray tom with striped legs, a nub tail, and bronze eyes.



Descriptive Appearance: Rowanheart is a cat that you could very easily call round. He has a round face, round eyes, and his general body shape also has little angles. Not to say that he is soft like his appearance suggests, though, he is incredibly well-muscled underneath his short, thick, scruffy fur. Pelt-wise, he's hardly a tabby, even though his brownish-grey pelt has a dark stripe running through it, and tabby stripes scorch along his legs. But, most notably of all, Rowanheart has a short, round, nubbed tail, a deformity he was born with.

Brief Personality: Well-meaning, unafraid of judgement, social, unassuming, heart on his sleeve, dislikes showing sadness


Descriptive personality: Rowanheart is always well-meaning, even when he does things that aren't what his clan wants or needs him to do. He's unafraid of judgement, and lives with the golden rule of treating others the way he wishes to be treated, even if they are unkind to him. He's also very social, loves to be around other cats and busies himself with hearing everything that happens or could be happening. But, he is friendly and unassuming to the point that other cats perceive him as naïve. Though he often turns a blind eye when he isn't entirely sure of a cat's true intentions, he isn't stupid, and chooses to put up that front instead, even if it's only to lower a cat's guard so they spill more than they were meaning to. But- despite this, he wears his heart on his sleeve. Cats know what he thinks, just as much as he can often guess what they think. He doesn't like showing sadness, and tends to bottle up his feelings just to show cats that everything is going to be okay.

Descriptive History: 

Rowanheart had been a social butterfly from birth. He was always easily excited, jumping around and being friendly with whoever could spare the time to hear him out on whatever crazy story he'd thought of today. This was in stark contrast to his sister, Magpiesight, who tended to be more quiet and observant. That didn't matter to him, though, he loved playing with Magpiekit either way, and was happy to spend time with both her and his parents overall.



As an apprentice, his excited nature and slightly aloof attitude became more of a liability than an endearing trait. He'd often be found distracted, even during important training sessions and lessons. This was even more damning with his stumped tail which already caused him to be slightly slower at learning moves that called for his balance to be precise. He'd still never have found an issue with this, until one fateful day, where his lack of paying attention had made him too slow to warn Magpiesight of the oncoming predator about to attack her. She lost her eyesight and spent a few moons in the medicine den, leaving him to continue on alone.



It did cause him to take his job as a warrior more serious, however, and he trained as hard as he could to make up for all the time he'd wasted just so there would never be a situation like that around him ever again. He finally was given the name Rowanheart when he became a warrior, named for never wavering kindness for the cats around him, because despite everything, he would never let anyone see him in a foul mood. He simply prospers as a warrior now, together with his sister, and for now, he's content.
