One line Description: golden tabby with blue eyes

Descriptive Appearance: to put one thing bluntly, sundance is beautiful, and he knows it. his pelt consists of a mixture of colors. a cream colored neck travels down to the belly, fading along the base of their tail. this same color lightly tops sundance's head and bottom of his chin, and leaves bold stripes underneath his eyes and between his eyes and above his nose. along the top of their back is a light, golden color that begins around his shoulders and ends near his rump. the same color picks up around halfway down their tail as it progressively grows darker, ending in a dark brown tip. along with his spine and tail, sundance's paws and face is heavily covered with this color, the latter of which is resembling a pointed cat's facial mask.  his ears are a dark brown like the tip of his tail, as is the bride of his nose. his face, back, thighs, and tail is crossed through by multiple stripes. most of these are a light brown color, though a couple of them line a few cream colored stripes. beautiful pelt colors are not the only thing that sundance has going on, but they also sport a pair of bright, blue eyes that shine bright and almost seem to sparkle in the sunlight. 

small in build, sundance is not exactly well muscled. while there is a bit visible, it is not anything that one would point out as a striking, prominent feature. they are actually somewhat long, which makes up for the shorter legs that they possess. extremely obsessed with they way that they look, there is very rarely a single tuft of hair out of place and ungroomed, nor will you ever find a speck of dust, dirt, twig, or leaf muddled in his pelt if he can have anything to do about it. and, being a young warrior, he does not carry any scars yet. 

Brief Personality: overconfident,  narcissistic, prideful, snooty

Descriptive personality: at first glance, it's extremely difficult to have any bit of patience or desire to spend time around sundance. self-obsessed and scornful of those around him, it's extremely easy to hate this cat. surely most of their clanmates already do. loud, rowdy, and obnoxious, almost every word that comes out of their mouth is intended to lift themself up, boost their ego, and remind those around him how lowly and unfortunate they are. and the worst part about it isn't just having to listen to it all the time, but to be able to face the reality that sundance is in fact an exemplary warrior; hunting, fighting, foraging... he has it under his belt, and quickly surpassed his fellow apprentices in training. to him, life is a competition, and he's not going to be the one that's left in the dust. everything about him is fuel to make other's hate him, and personally? he doesn't care what they think of him; he already knows that he's 'the best.' and being somewhat selfish, sundance finds himself often disobeying authority when it comes to doing or not doing things that they want or need him to do. even in battle, he may not attack if he feels that the battle isn't worth the effort. sometimes they will jump headfirst into battle without a go-ahead because they feel that is is worth the effort. hot headed, it's hard to change their mind when it's made up. 

however, despite being a know-it-all, having been a mentor's-pet during his apprenticeship, and ace of all studies, sundance does have their screwups. even to this day, the more and more that they're successful during a hunt or within combat, the more that their pride spikes. the more that their pride spikes, the more overconfident and clumsy that their movements get. while sundance may be acting phenomenally during a hunt, he may start to grow clumsy as he gets too confident. his steps may become loud and less meticulously placed, scaring prey away.. or even it could just be his endless bantering that sends prey fleeing. even in combat, he may be doing fine until his witty banter distracts him from the actual fight at paw. anytime that he winds up losing a piece of prey or being pinned in battle, if not pinning the blame on some other cat, sundance often gets irritated and refuses to speak at all. immediate shut up. hurt pride. and this hurt pride may cause them to simply stop participating. no more hunting, no more training. 

however, keep all of this in mind that sundance is a young cat. he is a fresh warrior who was talented as an apprentice, and has really allowed his pride to take a hold of and morph his personality from a determined kit to spiteful warrior. in time, he has the ability to be able to really mellow down and potentially allow himself to let go of his 'high,' get some sense and humility whacked into him, and turn out to grow up into a decent and respectable warrior who puts his clan and their wellbeing first over his own. it may not be instant or immediate, but it is something that certainly has the potential in time. perhaps it may be when he meets a special someone, learns some responsibility by training an apprentice, or maybe it may be when his arrogance leads him into a serious situation for a wake up call.

Descriptive History: sundance was born into oakclan, and contrary to what must be popular belief, he was not anywhere close to as unlikeable as he is now. from a young age, like many kits are, sundance had the drive and the desire to become the best warrior that his clan has ever had. he wanted to fight battles, hunt for his friends and family, and keep his home safe from all sorts of disaster. after sunkit became sunpaw, things in his personality slowly began to change. the cat took great and naturally to all sorts of training, even leading where the other apprentices stumbled. slowly and overtime, sunpaw grew more and more confident in their abilities and frequently compared them to the other apprentices. pride trickled its way into their head, solidifying that desire to be the best. however, what could have been used as a talent and opportunity to turn that dream into reality, sunpaw let it consume and take over their mindset.  no longer was it be the best warrior that oakclan has ever had in order to keep them safe and fed, but simply to become the best warrior. simple and shallow as that. as moons passed, sunpaw grew more and more hateable by his peers around him, but he didn't seem to mind at all. eventually, sunpaw become sundance, a snobby warrior who most certainly has it coming to him.
