One line Description:: Slim ruddy grey-brown and white tabby with amber eyes.

Descriptive Appearance:: Redfang is a lean long-haired grey-brown and white mackerel tabby with dark amber eyes and a rufoused coat that glints warmly in the sunlight. A dusty grey covers the top of his coat, over his head, down his back, up to the base of his fluffy tail. From there, light tan fades into a white neck and underbelly. The same tan drifts down his legs and tail, each respective appendage eventually either socked or tipped in white. He has a slender and somewhat long build, and though his pelt is thick, it is rather water-resistant.

He usually carries the scent of swamp musk with a hint of magnolia blooms about his person.

Brief Personality:: Rowdy, Laid-Back, Tenacious, Empathetic, Introspective

Descriptive Personality:: At a first glance, Redfang comes off as energetic and a bit daft, especially in combination with like minds. He is rowdy and rambunctious when worked up as any young warrior would, and to his credit, it often makes him ample fast friends. In his down time though, he can be as laid-back as a cat in retirement as he takes his time one pawstep at a time. Many of his clanmates have chastised him for his carefree attitude, often urging him to work harder, though it is often due to him finding more peace and efficiency working on his own.

However, only those who have gotten to know Redfang personally have seen him for the tenacious and driven warrior he can be when properly motivated. His loyalty to his clan spurs him on, and in the face of action, he is somehow like a totally different cat.  Naturally empathetic and always tuned into the wavelengths of those around him, Redfang emotes to connect with others as he finds it easier than attempting to pick the right words. On the battlefield, nothing is more important than the bonds of one’s allies and one's abilities to preserve such. As a result, Redfang is a surprisingly introspective individual as he often mulls over how to improve himself for the sake of himself and his clanmates. More and more often, he finds himself concerned with his capacities and distracted by his unspoken worries, though he will do his best to hide his troubles his clanmates as to not burden them.

Descriptive History:: The parents of the tabby warrior were akin to tragic lovers; Sabletail was a charismatic dark tabby warrior who made peace and merriment with whomever fell into his company. It, then, was no wonder that he had won over the fancy of another. A pale tabby beauty with striking eyes named Waterlight sought to court him, and while he was certainly agreeable, it would come at a cost. The queen had indeed come to carry his kits, but was a frail warrior. She had collapsed in the camp when medicine cats moved to help her deliver. They worked tirelessly, but the strain had been too great and Waterlight was lost. Not, however, before naming her son and daughter after the colors that painted the eventide sky.

In spite of his  mother's passing, Redfang had happily grown up just as would-be warriors had in their Nursery days. Sabletail worked to set a model example of the silver-tongued NightClan warrior at work for his kits, and it reflected in their dispositions. Redfang spent many days playing and honing his skills to become a warrior apprentice alongside his only littermate and sister, Pinkfish, as well as with the other kits in the clan. Eventually, he would train with these cats, struggle with them, mourn with them, and bleed for them. It was grueling work, but he had been rewarded at his naming ceremony with a name that symbolized his fighting spirit.

Nowadays, he spends his days flip-flopping between camp chores and patrols, and while he may mock-complain as he goes about his business, he’s pleased to be able to support his clan. Because despite his sister’s grandiose goals, a peaceful clan life is all Redfang really wants.

A sound soul dwells within a sound mind and a sound body; Redfang tries to approach things easy and loose, thus he finds that things tend to roll off his back with ease. However, emotions may cloud his thoughts at times, leaving him with the thinnest of vulnerabilities.

A strong warrior is not made without their bruising in battle, and Redfang is just the same. Young and resilient, he usually recovers from injury swiftly, though the pain still takes its toll in the meantime.
