One line Description: a thick furred, brown eyed, tabby she-cat

Descriptive Appearance: tigertuft is nothing too spectacular when it comes to the colors that adorn her pelt. was light and dark browns, fashioned with a couple dark stripes. there are no bright colors that stand out, and even her eyes lack any additional luster to them. in fact, the female herself may classify her appearance as boring and not much to look at, though it tends not to hold her up any. appearances were never something that the girl stressed over much in any of the moons of her lifetime.

as stated, the color of the female’s pelt is predominantly that of a light brown color which traces down her head to her stomach. a darker brown travels sharply down her neck and back and spine and consumes her haunches down to her tail. her ears are also made up of this same shade of darker brown, though the interior of them are lighter in tone. from the female’s cheeks to her belly, a lighter tan color stretches across. while it does not quite travel down the insides of her legs at all, the tan around the girl’s feet are consistent with this color, while her toes are reminiscent of the darker brown. there is not too much more in color to the feline except a few dark—and even some lighter, though not nearly as prominent— stripes traveling across her tabby body. as stated, tigertuft’s eyes are nothing special either, and are considered to be rhat of just a dull, brownish orange color.

while somewhat simple in color, tigertuft’s fur makes up to it in volume. thick and soft, her long pelt allows her to stay warm in the frigid moons and chilling nights of the mountains she calls home. while she is muscular, the female is not particularly large, though the thickness of her fur that when in defensive, tends to make the feline appear a bit larger than reality. upon her neck, and no matter how often she grooms herself, a good bit of her fur along her neck almost always tends to stick up out of place.

her appearance certainly is what the female draws her name from: the striped pelt of her’s almost mirroring that of the legendary tiger, and the thickness of it bringing forth the tuft suffix. specifically that poking around her neck.

though i’m not sure if she’s stylized enough away from a tabby to count as a rare pelt ?? she’s an existing oc i’ve scripted to fit here, but i can make her a new one and create a more typical tabby design if needed.

Brief Personality: independent, clever, and explorative

Descriptive personality: tigertuft is a fierce feline, quick to defend what she personally believes to be right. while this factor may be a great strength, it also proves to be a tripping stone in her path.. for example, is what she herself perceived to be ‘right’ really the right thing, or is she finding herself diving headfirst into a situation that may do nothing but disrupt the balance of everybody around her? and if so, what sort of pride holds her back from admitting she was wrong and leaving things be? perhaps her hot-headed impulse may throw her at the paws of some bigger enemies than herself. however, of course, all of this is merely skeptical and dependent on the fact that she may mistrust the gut feeling nagging within her, and that her judgement be skewed by selfish ambition. of which is not something the feline will often do. in fact, tigertuft is deeply grounded to the wellbeing of her clan, and any of her ‘extreme lengths’ are to go towards protecting it.

often lighthearted and mellowed out around the edges, the female is easy to talk to and is not too hard of a figure to get along with. while one may not be the closest of friends to her, the feline tends not to create much discourse. she is respectful to those who deserve it, and often times merely tends to overlook those who are sharp of tongue, or counter them back with a snide comment of her own. while she tries not to always act this way, there are many times that she can become blatantly rude and undesirable to be around when irritated enough. despite the overall friendly air that the girl carries, she is somewhat anxious around kits and also tends to avoid them if possible. she will take up the task of so desired, but she dreads the idea of babysitting and looking after young apprentices and children.

naturally, living among the mountains of dawnclan has resulted in a feline well rounded with muscle and strength in her movements. climbing rocky craigs to reach high up areas, such as birds nests, in something that she finds thrilling, and the thought of fresh bird eggs is a delicacy in her eyes. a fantastic fighter, tigertuft has almost mastered the art of using her surroundings to her advantage and approaching almost all combat situations in stealth. whether it’s coating herself in snow to hide the starkness of her fur, coating herself in mud to mask her scent, finding dangerous yet beneficial ‘shortcuts,’ or even pouncing down from high up places onto an unsuspecting foe, the feline will always attempt to do whatever it takes to allow her to be the one to be taking her enemies by surprise—and she needs it, too. while muscled, she is not too fantastic in long, drawn out, paw to paw combat. in fact, almost all of her luck and victories in both hunting and combat are contributed to pouncing from out of sight to quickly wrangle and subdue an unsuspecting target, often aiming to knock them out, briefly disable them, or if times are desperate enough? kill them. the faster she can get the job done, the higher are her chances of success. chasing a fleeting animal or sparring head on with a rival force the feline to trip over her feet and make erratic movements. should she be pinned, it is not uncommon for her to quickly expend the bulk of her energy struggling to free herself, only further shortening her chances of winning a drawn out spar.

all albeit this, however, tigertuft is a wild heart, and loves to explore the natural world around her. very rarely does she enjoy being cooped up in camp instead of feeling the familiar footing of her mountain home. it is very uncommon for her to not be one of the first to volunteer for patrols, collect supplies to line their dens and fortify the dawnclan camp, or just spend some time out hunting for the rest of them. in her eyes, there’s always something new for her to discover.. even if that something may lie beyond her home’s familiar boundaries. and unlike many of her dawnclan clan mates, the feline’s passion to climb is not merely for the sake of being paws high off the ground, but being able to view the world around her, big and beautiful, stretching to the ends of the earth.. and she would be lying if she spoke that she has never wished to travel there.

Descriptive History: from the young age of a kitten, she has always had a vivid imagination and fascination with the natural world around her. whether it was digging up objects hidden in the dirt or the snow or climbing up small piles of rocks, tigerkit was certainly quite the handful for a time. she has mellowed out throughout the moons, but for a long, long time, she has for more energy bursting through her paws than adults could keep up with. there were many instances that as a single kit, conceived from a slightly older couple, she was forced to stay in her den to protect even just the heart of her poor parents, of whom she caused much… much anxiety and worry over by reaching high areas or squeezing into crevices. and as a paw, she too has had many instances of being forced to clean the dens and check the elders for ticks after going off on her own and leaving her mentor in the dust. while she still does have a strong sense of independence to her, tigertuft has calmed down on her impulses and matured greatly. with this, she has become a manageable yet unique figure in the clan, serving as dutiful as she can. beyond this, there have been little to no extremely extraordinary events in her lifetime yet.
