One line Description: Skinny dark-pointed tom with deep blue eyes and a kinked tail.

Descriptive Appearance: WIP; a strongly-featured face typical of oriental type cats. A lanky build even for his youth. Voice is still childish but will become very deep. Has a kinked tail from a birth complication. Seal-point siamese pattern with very dark indigo-blue eyes.

Despite his youth, Brittlepaw is already a bony, lanky cat with a naturally elongated face, tail, and body. He is slightly taller than many of his peers of the same age, on average, and has a disproportionately large nose, ears, and paws that he will grow into as he matures. His shoulders are narrow but strong. His tail was pinched in the womb, and he was born with a natural kink near the end.

His pelt is short and dense, and relatively soft though there are some coarser, paler hairs mixed in here and there. In pattern, his face, ears, lower legs, and tail are both a rich blackish-brown inherited from his father, while his body is a warm cream that fades to whitish around his belly, sides, and throat. Brittlepaw's eyes are a dark, intense blue, almost indigo in color. His nose and paw pads are velvet black.

Brief Personality: Judgemental, Blunt, Intellectual, Curious, Bold

Descriptive personality: Brittlepaw is strongly influenced by his mother's upbringing, having a less bouncy and naive outlook than most cats his age. However, without the temperance of wisdom or experience, he tends to come across more as a know-it-all or stuck-up bully than as someone with a mature outlook or sense of nuance. Brittlepaw's the kid that tells you just how stupid you look and doesn't realize that it isn't always appropriate, funny, or helpful to do so.

He has a sheltered "gifted kid" mentality, feeling as though he's honestly a little better than some other cats his age, or even some cats older than him, despite having only just started. He feels privileged to have grown up on the stories of clan life, and judges others harshly for failing the challenges of the wild. His biases are something a prospective mentor will have to keep an eye on, lest they fester into lifelong prejudice.

However, he's still a young and impressionable sort. Brittlepaw truly does love to learn new things, and would happily listen to the stories of queens and elders of any clan no matter how much he might complain that NightClan smells funny or DawnClan noses are too cold to share tongues with. Even if he tends to put his foot in his mouth, he still has the curiosity and social drive of a child, and isn't averse to finding friends- as long as they can keep up with him.

Descriptive History: Brittle, Bumble, and Briar were born to Greyshadow, a lone mother left destitute at the collapse of the clans and the subsequent death of the love of her life. She waited patiently, but bitterly, for the clans to reform. The faith she carried for StarClan soured; though she was utterly convinced of their existence, she no longer believed in their intention to help or guide the living. Instead, she turned to the shadowy cats of old that had always been taught as "taboo" when the clans were thriving. Greyshadow raised each of her children to hold the shadows in high esteem, and to keep their minds clear on the new moon, hoping for a visit or sign from the cats of the Dark Forest.

Among his siblings, Brittle was not the most beautiful nor the most charming, but he was certainly the most eager to learn. While Bumble and Briar played in the reeds and leaves, Brittle followed his mother's footsteps, enchanted by the stories of warrior life, the code, and the cats of the Dark Forest.

When OakClan reformed, Greyshadow rejoined their ranks the moment she heard, ushering her children in with her- new blood for a new era. Brittlekit was thus named Brittlepaw as he began his training.
