One line Description:: Slim ruddy grey-brown and white tabby with amber eyes.

Descriptive Appearance:: Pepperpaw is a lean long-haired grey-brown and white mackerel tabby with dark amber eyes and a rufoused coat that glints warmly in the sunlight. He has a slender and somewhat long build, albeit muscular for his size, although he carries a bit of a feminine air about himself as a result of his elegant visage. His pelt is thick, yet rather water-resistant, and he has surprisingly wide paws.

As far as his pelt goes, the texture is luxuriously silky and somewhat feathery. A dusty grey covers the top of his coat, over his head, down his back, up to the base of his fluffy tail. From there, light tan fades into a white neck and underbelly. The same tan drifts down his legs and tail, each respective appendage eventually either socked or tipped in white.

He usually carries the scent of swamp musk with a hint of magnolia blooms about his person.

Brief Personality:: Rowdy, Laid-Back, Tenacious, Empathetic, Introspective

Descriptive Personality:: At a first glance, Pepperpaw comes off as energetic and a bit daft, especially in combination with like minds. He is rowdy and rambunctious when worked up as any young warrior apprentice would, and to his credit, it often makes him ample fast friends. In his down time though, he can be as laid-back as a cat in retirement as he takes his time one pawstep at a time. Many of his clanmates have chastised him for his carefree attitude, often urging him to work harder, though it is often due to him finding more peace and efficiency working on his own.

However, only those who have gotten to know Pepperpaw personally have seen him for the tenacious and driven cat he can be when properly motivated. His loyalty to his clan spurs him on, and in the face of action, he is somehow like a totally different cat.  Naturally empathetic and always tuned into the wavelengths of those around him, Pepperpaw emotes to connect with others as he finds it easier than attempting to pick the right words. On the battlefield, nothing is more important than the bonds of one’s allies and one's abilities to preserve such. As a result, Pepperpaw is a surprisingly introspective individual as he often mulls over how to improve himself for the sake of himself and his clanmates. More and more often, he finds himself concerned with his capacities and distracted by his unspoken worries, though he will do his best to hide his troubles his clanmates as to not burden them.

Descriptive History:: The parents of the tabby tom were nothing akin to the tales a parent would tell to their kits; yet Pepperpaw’s mother was very liberal with her free-flowing words. Pinkfish had been a gaudy and forward member of what remained of NightClan, in everyone’s business and making it her own as the lone kit of the NightClan warrior, Sabletail. She had been a bit of a Neo Era sympathizer from her youth despite the earnest efforts of her father who had been respected before the Clansfall as they attempted to recover their culture, and it was a value that ultimately ended many relationships the charismatic queen had collected. Of these had been a handsome diluted tabby loner-turned-warrior named Silverleaf, and drove him off despite her carrying their kits.

Pepperpaw had been born just as Pepper alongside his sister, Hot; a fiery ginger tabby appearing more like Pinkfish herself in both appearance and habit. The young tom had been reared on revelry and spunk in his kithood with such a bombastic mother and foolhardy sister. Both she-cats had found bonding through Neo Era ideals as Pinkfish taught them from their early days, but Pepper instead spent much of his time listening to all the different views of the budding NightClan and found there was much overlap despite their differences. There had even been a time when he had asked his mother why she hadn’t changed her name as many others had, and to his surprise, Pepper found sentimentality in the fact that it was because Pinkfish’s father still lived with them and remembered the time before the Neo Era warriors and she wanted to honor him. It proved to Pepper that the ideals of a cat meant little if there was no emotional drive behind them.

Thus upon Pepper’s apprenticeship, the young tom anxiously, but resoundingly requested to take a ‘paw’ to his name as his sister had failed to do so. He had decided that it was up to him to cut his own path instead of following down those of others and instead see where it would lead him in this confusing and chaotic time.
