Hog stared at the giant cast-iron gates with uncertainty. The silence of the cemetery only broke when the gate creaked in a breath of wind, wich raised the fur on the young loner's back. 
He knew, that this place held more secrets than one would assume. He could feel the hidden tension in his whiskers every time he leaned closer to the iron gates to take a closer look. 

He heard stories of this place, from the other loners and house cats he met on his journey. Stories of cats performing strange rituals, and claiming to be able to speak with spirits. Stories like these always sparked Hog's imagination. His curious nature and lack of fear form the unknown was something that drove him to see the strangest places and meet with the most interesting cats. Most of the time they turned out to be ordinary places and loners, and only the paranoia and ignorance of the lokals made them so peculiar. 

Hog stared at the army of tombstones to see if he can spot any movement among them, but everything was still. He took a deep breath and slipped in between the gaps of the gate. He stopped a few feet away from the gate to listen, searching for sounds of pawsteps. When he was met with silence he went deeper. 

He started looking around, not to detect any threat, but to simply inspect his surroundings more. He still felt the strained atmosphere, but other than that, the place looked pretty normal. 
A crow flew by, singing it's ominous song, and Hog followed the bird with his gaze. Then something tickled his nose.

He felt the scent of a stranger. 

" Hello? Is someone there? " He asked as he turned around. He felt his muscles tensing at the potentional danger, and his tail slowly moved side to side. " I'm not a threat if you aren't one either. " He meowed, trying to keep his voice calm.  His lower two canines made it hard sometimes to say certain words, so he could only hoped the stranger understood him.
