Descriptive Appearance: Moorwhisker is a large brown/grey ticked tabby. He's larger than most cats in his clan - potentially the largest of all of them - which is claims is something his mother says he inherited from his father. Colour wise, he's pretty plain looking - his size is really his greatest stand out trait. Once close enough to see, the other noticeable thing about him is his blind eye. He is completely blind in his left eye, which appears to be clouded over with deep, scarred claw marks surrounding it. 

His voice is very deep and gruff, and he speaks with a heavy Scottish accent. This can be hard for other cats to understand, but Moorwhisker refuses to actively try and reduce his accent. He says it doesn't matter if cats understand his words or not - all they need to do is understand his actions.

Usually, Moorwhisker can be seen with a slightly grumpy expression. He's a soft heart really, but he takes his warrior duties very seriously and it shows on his face.

Brief Personality: Quiet, honest, hard-working, hot-tempered

Descriptive personality: Duty is something that is incredibly important to Moorwhisker. OakClan gave him a chance and potentially saved his life, therefore he feels like he owes them his allegiance. Being the best warrior that he can be and following the Warrior Code to the letter is his priority. In his eyes, protecting his clan is more important than even his own life.

He is a serious cat, rarely joking about or engaging in play, but that doesn't mean that he's incapable of anything but duty. Underneath his gruff exterior, Moorwhisker is a kind tom with a heart of gold. He is incredibly patient and soft when it comes to those most important to him, and - were he to ever have kits - it is likely that he would be a wonderful family man.

Moorwhisker will never lie, even if it will get him into trouble. He sees it as disrespectful to do so, which is not something he wants to be associated with - not even when it comes to his enemies. However, despite this, it isn't lying to simply avoid telling the truth. If he does not want to answer a question, then he will change the topic or otherwise dance around it.

His biggest flaw is his temper. Moorwhisker does not have much patience, and he is quick to get angry or frustrated when something is not playing out in a way that he thinks it should. When this happens, he can lash out and say some nasty things, or even occasionally start a fight. Once he calms down again, he may apologise for his behaviour, but only if he truly things that it was unjustified (which, more often than not, he does not).

Descriptive History: Born in Scotland, Moorwhisker - then called Angus - comes from the result of a kittypet meeting a devilishly charming rogue our on the moors. He stuck around for a few weeks of whirlwind romance but, after that, Mog (Moorwhisker's mother) never saw him again. A couple of months later, her litter was born! 

All the kittens ended up finding new homes eventually. Moorwhisker ended up on a very rural farm, living in a barn that he shared with a herd of sheep. It was a nice life. He grew up hunting (though never growing hungry is he couldn't catch anything, as the twoleg that looked after him would feed him too), getting into scraps with other cats in the area, and generally just doing whatever he wanted. 

When he was around 24 moons old, the sheep suddenly disappeared one day. Then, he found himself being gathered up by the twoleg and taken to many strange places. The experience was terrifying - he didn't know where he was and, for a lot of it, there were loud monster noises around him. Next thing he knew, he and the twoleg ended up living in a new house where all the nearby cats had funny accents.

Moorwhisker didn't like his new life. He missed the outdoors and living to his own schedule. While he did love his twoleg - the man had been very kind to him, and he appreciated that a lot - he eventually came to the difficult decision that he would be happier if he left. One day, he just didn't come home. Instead, he made his way out of the town and into the nearby wilderness.

He lived as a loner for a few moons before stumbling upon OakClan. By this point, he had only just lost the sight in one eye due to an injury that came from a scrap with a nasty rogue in the area. OakClan helped Moorwhisker - without them, there was every chance that his eye could have become infected and got even worse than it already was - and, seeing how they lived, he asked if he could join them. The clan let him in and, since then, he had been trying his best every day to prove that he's just as worthy a warrior as those born in the clan.
