Descriptive Appearance: DawnClan cats tend to be big, and Mothmaw is one of the more extreme examples of this. While he's not insanely large, he is one of the bigger members of the clan. His bulky, muscled build stands above many of his clanmates - helped along by the sheer amount of fur he has giving him an extra few inches of height. There is fluffy, and there is fluffy - and Mothmaw is certainly the latter. His thick, unkept pelt both protects him from the harsh climate and gives him some extra protection when in battles. The sheer density of it makes it hard for other warriors to get their teeth through the fur. Combined with his large build, this turns Mothmaw into an absolute tank of a cat.

His fur is a grey colour with a few splatterings of white - namely on his chest, belly, muzzle, forehead, all four feet, and a patch on his right hind leg. Mothmaw's eyes are a bright, piercing orange. When the wind blows, his fur regularly blows over them and partially obscures his view. It also has a habit of blowing into his mouth, and he can regularly be seen attempting (often in vain) to spit it back out.

Mothmaw's bulk come with the sacrifice of speed. He moves slower than a typical warrior, though does have it in him to sprint with a surprising burst of energy for a short period of time should the situation demand it.

Brief Personality: Gruff, stubborn, loyal, boneheaded

Descriptive personality: While he is not the brightest cat in the world, Mothmaw is one of the most determined. Once he sets his sights on something, he will stubbornly pursue it until he either achieved his aim or is forced to stop. He is not one to accept defeat, no matter what form it comes in.

He is incredibly loyal to his clan. DawnClan comes first, even if it means the suffering of an outsider or a member of another clan. Because of this, Mothmaw is not a fan of rogues and loners. They steal food from DawnClan, therefore it is imperative that they be chased off the territory. He does not approve of them joining the clan under any circumstances, nor does he approve of memebrs of other clans moving to his own. These cats will always be outsiders to him, therefore they can never be trusted. If any kittypet attempts to join the clan, he will be a vocal opponent of the concept. In Mothmaw's mind, they will inevitably become useless mouth to feed, leeching supplies from everybody else while unable to provide on their own. This thinking also extends to disabled and lazy cats - basically, anybody that does not, in his eyes, add anything to the clan's survival.

Mothmaw is DawnClan's greatest warrior. Well, that's what he claims, anyway. Whether it's true or not, he's certainly one of the cats you want protecting your back during a fight. His abilities in battle come not from any particular skill, but rather from how his sheer strength, size, and protective mass of fur means he can come into the fight like some kind of wrecking ball - knocking over everything in his path as he barrels through enemy warriors, brushing off their attacks as if they are nothing.

While he's certainly a grouchy cat, Mothmaw does have a soft side deep underneath all that fur of his. Surprisingly, he has a fond spot for kits. This does not mean that he is particularly good with them, mind you - the tom is far too blunt and gruff for that - but he will tolerate them in a way that he does not tolerate anybody else.

Descriptive History: DawnClan is all Mothmaw has known. He vaguely remembers the formation of the clan, though he was only a tiny kit at the time, and he certainly remembers the disappearance of the original clan leaders. The past isn't something he thinks about much, though. The present is what is important, so it is best to focus on that, all while planning the next steps to ensure the future of the clan.

As a kit, it quickly became obvious that Mothmaw was going to be both large and fluffy, though nobody could have guessed just how large and fluffy he would eventually grow to be. He was the biggest kit, as well as the biggest apprentice, out of his peers. It also quickly became clear that he wasn't exactly the brightest mind in the clan. That wasn't an issue, though! Mothmaw stuck to his strengths, focusing on fighting and battle techniques instead of any kind of smart thinking. He found that it wasn't particularly hard to gain a reputation as a formidable warrior on the battlefield.

Though he's had more than a few flings over the many moons he's been alive, and, because of that, likely has at least a few kits carrying his blood, Mothmaw has never settled down with a mate, nor does he really expect to. He's not an unfeeling monster, but love? It's not really his thing.
