One line Description: A short grey-and-ginger tabby she-cat with heterochromic eyes.

Descriptive Appearance: Kestrelfrost's lives up to her name when it comes to her coat. Much like a kestrel, her fur is coloured in shades of grey, orange, and white, only contrasted by the dark marbled tabby stripes that scorch her coat. Her eyes sport two seperate colours, one a deep gold while the other is closer to an icy blue, both of which she inherited from either side of her parents. One other notable thing she inherited from her mother is her short stature and constantly glossy coat, which she keeps as clean as possible at all times

Brief Personality: Direct, Cold, Honest, Calculating, Socially awkward, Stubborn

Descriptive personality: Kestrelfrost is a cat who really hates the stereotype that OakClan carries with it. Being thought of as weak, soft-hearted, or any of the like has always felt like a deep-rooted insult to everything she stands for. She can come off as harsh or cold as a result. Being seen as soft in any way is a horrifying concept, and she's worked hard over the months to build up walls to keep herself safe. She doesn't like to show her emotions either, and usually just looks completely neutral (with an edge towards the annoyed).

She doesn't go out of her way to be mean, though. Yes, Kestrelfrost can be extremely direct and honest, and she may not really care what the consequences of said honesty are, but she doesn't strive to ruin anyone's day. Her brutality comes out of a place of care for her clanmates- whom she does truly care about- to make sure they aren't kept in the dark about how she feels. She does this so that others do this for her too, as she struggles to emotionally connect with those around her. She's tried to keep to herself most of her life as to focus on her own apprenticeship over the struggles of others, but now doesn't actually know how to talk to other cats in a non-formal manner. Such is life.

But this way of life during her formative years did improve her ability to be more calculating, more smart about her decisions. She would never take an action willingly if she weren't absolutely sure of herself, even if that took her waiting at the sidelines for hours before striking. She knows (or like to think she knows) what she's doing most of the time, and hates unsurity more than anything else. She isn't afraid of it, however, and will throw anything and everything at a problem until it's fixed and she knows the answer for next time.

Descriptive History:

Kestrelkit was born to the rather unlikely pairing of Cedarheart and Tinyfire. Her parents- StarClan knows how they even ended up together, were complete polar opposites in their way of thinking. Cedarheart was very family-oriented, yet had a very strict way of parenting when it came to his daughter. If he had the say over her life, she'd doubt she would've ever been allowed to be an apprentice. Her mother, luckily, was not as overprotective of her. Rather, she was a lot more distant, letting Kestrelkit roll in as much mud as she wanted and eat all the dirt her heart desired. Of course, with the cost that Kestrelkit did clean up after herself after.

The family didn't have a strained relationship, though. It was extremely dysfunctional, but it worked. Her parents did care for her and each other even if Tinyfire didn't seem to have wanted to be a queen very much. Her mother truly rubbed off on her on giving her the drive to work, and Kestrelkit wasn't blind to how antsy her mother became the older she got. Cedarheart didn't mind, though. He loved spending time with his daughter and Kestrelkit loved playing games with her (secretly preferred) father.

This however, sadly changed when her father passed away when she had been only a moon away from becoming an apprentice.

It was extremely tragic for the entire family. Cedarheart had been so excited to get to see his only kit grow up to be a full warrior some day, but never even got to see her first ceremony. And though sometimes the relationship between him and Tinyfire seemed strained, her mother was completely griefstrucken. She went from a lax parental style to complete emotional distance, and as Kestrelkit grew older she'd only grow more estranged from her mother.

Apprenticeship:
Eventually, Kestrelkit had to become Kestrelpaw, though not having her father with her during her ceremony left a bitter taste in her mouth and had caused the life-changing experience to be more.. sad. She was apprenticed to Furzestorm(NPC), a harsh, yet warm-hearted tom. He taught her many of her current ideals, as his methods of speaking to her were curt, yet honest. While she hadn't had a bond with him like she did with Cedarheart, Furzestorm was the closest cat she had to a father figure in this time.

He taught her much, but could never teach her how to behave around other cats. As a kit she tended to stick with Cedarheart the most (mostly because of his protectiveness), and now as an apprentice she didn't feel particularly attached to any of her denmates. Furzestorm had suffered from a similar problem, and kept to himself much like she does now. Not to say he was a bad mentor, though. Kestrelfrost still has much of her current expertise to thank him for, but she never really bridged the social gap, even if she wanted to.

Warrior life:
Eventually, Kestrelpaw was named Kestrelfrost. She is still a relatively young warrior as she is now. She hasn't had any apprentices, and just does as she's told. She patrols, hunts, fights, whatever, but there hasn't been anything worthy to note, yet.
