[div align="center"]Chicory is an... odd sort to behold. He has a downy, almost silk-soft coat that has lost its luster and shine over time, forever hidden under layers of dust and grime. It bunches up and frays out at different points, and it's clear he either doesn't properly groom himself or does this on purpose for some reason. About once a moon, he rolls in the rain-filled roof gutters in town to rinse the build-up off and start the cycle anew.

[/div][div align="center"]When it's clean enough to discern dirt from pattern, his pelt reveals itself to be mostly white on his sides and neck. His belly, legs, head, and tail gain a hint of pale tan and vague tabby stripes, while his paws, ears, and muzzle are dipped in a light lavender-brown. He seems to have some white dotting his pelt, but it gets lost in his overall pale color. His eyes are a muted blue, closer to indigo than cyan.

[/div][div align="center"]His features are long and angled, his tail-tip kinked down after it got run over by a car in a driveway (Not that it's stopped him from sleeping in the undercarriage anyway). He seems perpetually underfed, his stomach giving him a temporary pot-belly after every meal.

[/div][div align="center"]His voice is deeper than one might expect, though lightened by a nasal tone, speaking in a comfortable drawl. While often imitating a local dialect, he often slips in an unusual twang from wherever he must have come from.

Uses his wits and long-time experience with the area to survive and even make a few creature comforts. 

while it takes a lot to get him completely write someone off- usually a personal sting- he does let everyone know just what he thinks of you and your actions. once you're on the bad side, it's gonna be hard to get him to even consider changing his mind- he's the "take it to the grave" kind of guy.
