➳APPEARANCE:
one line description: huge, battle-scarred black and brown tabby with long, thick fur, and green eyes.
descriptive appearance: hound's most notable feature is his size: the tom is huge with both muscle and fat, and his long, thick coat only makes him look larger, making him rather intimidating. as for colouring, his fur isn't too interesting- it's mostly very dark brown with thick black stripes covering it, his ears and tail being almost fully black. his underside is lighter but doesn't vary too much from the rest of his coat. hound's eyes are a very dark, muted green, and his nose and paw-pads are brick red.
    hound's pelt is also littered in scars, varying in sizes, although the most notable are the two on his face: one across the muzzle and one under his left eye, the three thick ones on his right shoulder, and the three thick ones on his right thigh. these are all from various fights, mostly with other outsiders over prey or shelter.
    hound speaks with a deep, booming voice.

➳PERSONALITY:
brief personality: brave, resentful, independent, somewhat self-loathing, sensible, sympathetic (towards other outsiders).
descriptive personality: hound has never been the type to stick around in one spot for long, and is often found travelling alone through different parts of the town and territory unclaimed by the clans, although he doesn't believe that they should be the rightful owners of it anyway. he resents the clans for taking away the territory he was born in and resents them even more for the death of his mother, which he believes to be their fault (and partly his). however, he tends to have a lot of sympathy and empathy for others living outside of the clans, understanding how difficult it can be to survive alone. 
    surviving alone for so long and having to defend both himself and his mother from such a young age taught hound independence and bravery and although he will never purposely put himself in danger, he will never back away from a fight. this also lead to him being very sensible as he didn't have much time in his youth for fun and games like most cats did.

➳HISTORY:
hound was born in what is now clan territory alongside three other kittens to a sick, elderly mother. his littermates were pronounced dead at birth, leaving just himself and his mother alone in the forest- his mother often struggled to care for him as the stress of having kits had affected her health a fair bit, however, they managed to survive quite well until their home was invaded by a large group of cats. these cats claimed to have been sent by "starclan" and deemed themselves the rightful owners of the forest. this infuriated berry, hound's mother, and despite being offered to join, she rejected, blinded by her anger and lack of desire to share her home. the two of them left the forest to live in twoleg territory but the lack of prey and resources made it very difficult to survive here.
    starting at around six moons of age, hound was the one who ended up doing most of the hunting and resource gathering as berry began to struggle to do these things herself. it put quite a lot of pressure on hound as he was only young but he is thankful that it gave him the skills to take care of himself and defend himself later in life. berry died when hound was around ten moons old.
    from the moment he was old enough to understand what the clans had done to him and his mother, hound resented them for everything. he hated the clans for stealing away their home and blamed them for his mother's death... yet, he couldn't help but partly blame himself too, sometimes thinking that had she not had kits, she probably would have had a better chance of survival. nonetheless, he swears revenge on the clans and will do whatever he can to get this.
