One line Description: Lean black and white tom with yellow eyes.

Descriptive Appearance: Batstrike is a tall and lean tom with a long tail. His black pelt is short and typically ruffled around the neck, but lays flat against the rest of his body. The felines underbelly, forepaw toes, and tail tip are white. A strip of white also appears on his muzzle. A square head props up large ears, houses a black nose, two bright golden yellow orbs for eyes, and maw which hides away a handsome grin.  A ragged scar which resembles a bite lays on his neck just above his shoulders and two claw marks sit on his top lip.

Brief Personality: Perfectionist, charming, clever, distant, feisty 

Descriptive personality: Batstrike is confident in his skills and in who he is, it's quite common for him to flash a cocky smile to himself.  He has a sharp mind and solid thought-process to back it, giving him a witty tongue. He's genuine and sweet towards those he's close to, but comes off as a quiet or distant tom around those he doesn't know.  He tends to thrive best with deep connections to small groups and neutral relations with the rest of his clanmates.  He is a great listener, whether he actually cares for whos speaking or if he's just trying to gather useful information.
He has a strong distaste for failure and expects the best of himself at all times. The tom doesn't impose his expectations on others, he carries the weight on his own shoulders and is very hard on himself. Despite the toms kind nature and need to blame things on himself he does have an abrasive side. He deals with conflict or drama with others poorly. His instinct for dealing with these kind of situations is typically to start a fight, since he is more confident in his claw work to solve issues.

Descriptive History: Batkit was born a NightClanner and was named by his parents for his dark pelt which reminded them of the winged creatures that took to the night sky. His parents were former loners who joined NightClan at its formation and opted not to conform their names to the new clan standard. They affectionately called him only by his prefix, Bat. He had a largely uneventful kithood, a quiet but sweet kit that spent his time playing by himself while exploring the safety of camp.  His mother, Lily, died in his late kithood of illness.
The young feline had become a lanky tom when it was time for him to begin his training. Batpaw developed high expectations and found his own failures and shortcomings to be unacceptable. Batpaw, with his swift build, began to excel at fighting in his own way by using his speed and unpredictable movements to his advantage.
Batpaw was deemed Batstrike for his skill in battle when he became the tall lean warrior he is now.  In his warriorhood he obtained both of the scars that decorate his pelt.  One from an encounter with a viscous predator and the other from a battle, he doesn't like to speak on the matters though as he lost his father, Raven, and his first apprentice, Cherrypaw, in each events.
