➳APPEARANCE:
one line description: green-eyed, cream-ish tom with russet patches, white spots, and long fangs.
descriptive appearance: although he would still tower over the average oakclan or nightclan apprentice, slugpaw is relatively small for a dawnclanner, but he does sport some of their typical features: he has large paws and a very thick coat, helping him to adapt to the rough climate of the mountain. his fur is mostly a pale cream with a few russet tabby patches, the most notable of which being the two largest ones covering his face to his shoulders and his midback to his tail. he also has a few white markings on his toes, tail-tip, above his nose, and on his chest. his eyes are a dark fern green and his nose and pawpads are pale pink.
    however, snailpaw's most notable feature is his upper canine teeth which are much longer than the average cat's and poke out of his mouth slightly.


➳PERSONALITY:
brief personality: shy, clumsy, considerate, generous, somewhat of a pushover, a little insecure
descriptive personality: from the very day he was born, snailpaw has always been a very quiet, soft-spoken individual, very rarely seen speaking to anyone other than his sister, parents, and mentor... it's not that he necessarily wants to be alone, he's just too shy to speak to anyone else, both out of fear that he'll mess it up and say the wrong thing or that they'll make fun of the lisp caused by his long canines. however, when he does end up actually getting out of his comfort zone and speaking to his clanmates, he's usually a bit of a pushover and finds himself doing all sorts of strange tasks just because someone else told him to- he just doesn't want to disappoint others is all, and is too socially awkward to deny a request.
    a result of snailpaw's immense shyness is that he's incredibly generous, even when he doesn't really want to be simply because he doesn't want anyone to be angry at him, or worse, he doesn't want to make anyone upset. he's very considerate, too, and values the thoughts and feelings of others above his own. once he gets to know someone well, he's super kind and is usually a pleasure to converse with or perform tasks such as patrols and hunting trips with (despite the fact that he tends to be quite clumsy and trips over his own paws a fair bit).

➳HISTORY:
slugkit was born along-side his sister, snailkit- his name was somewhat of an afterthought and was meant to match his sister's. he lived a very average life as a kit, although he struggled with speaking quite a lot due to his long canine teeth, resulting in a lisp. over time, he's been working on his speech but it's debatable as to whether it has helped much.
    like the majority of cats, snailpaw was apprenticed at six moons but not much really changed about his personality- he's still quite clumsy and tends to shy away from others, enjoying his alone time. his insecurities about his speech continued, but, through combat training, he developed somewhat of a new love for his teeth as he discovered his ability to provide quite a dangerous bite.
