Full Appearance:

Snailpaw is a bit of an awkward young cat, her legs not quite caught up with the rest of her and her tail just a little too short, too. Her fur is thick and her belly hangs a bit low even though she swears she never takes extra from the fresh-kill pile. Her paws are big, as standard for a DawnClan cat, but so is her nose and her eyes. She'll probably grow into it all, won't she?

Her pelt is about half white, covering her muzzle, throat, chest, legs, and belly. The rest of her is a russet-brown-to-burnt-red maze of swirling tabby stripes that accent her forehead and create a distinctive white-framed swirl on her sides for which her parents named her. Her eyes are a bright, summery green.

She has a high, somewhat annoying voice that she loves to use; everyone hopes she grows out of that, too.

Full Personality:

Snailpaw is always ready to start the day, meet new friends, begin her morning training- anything and everything at all, she's raring to go out and do it. She can't stand being idle, and would gladly do even the most hated chore over relaxing and hanging out; but of course, her favorite way to keep busy is to play games and challenge her peers to some sport. Her competitive streak can get a little out of hand sometimes, though; there's a fine line between a healthy rivalry and a bully.

While she always tries to rope as many cats as possible into her games or competitions, she is honestly a terrible sport about being on the losing team- especially if she comes in last. She'll take it out on the other cats involved, ignoring them for days on end or actively trying to mess up their hunting and training. She gets over it eventually, but is downright unpleasant until then.

Snailpaw isn't simply brave or headstrong; she genuinely has a sense of courage not all young cats can claim to possess. Even when she's sick to her stomach with nerves or truly afraid of something, she always finds a way to push herself to do it anyway.

While not uncommon with the young, it seems a defining trait of hers that Snailpaw just never seems to shut up for five minutes. She can't stand dead air and will fill it with anything she possibly can; humming, scratching at a rock, talking to herself or anyone around, singing horribly. It's best to just give in and keep her entertained until she learns how to accept silence. About the only time she can keep her trap shut is when hunting, or if it might give her an edge in a sport to be quieter than usual.

Full History:

Snailpaw was born and raised in clan life, knowing nothing but milk, dreams, and playtime for much of her life so far. Her parents named her after the spiral-like tabby stripes on her pelt, something she's still not sure is embarrassing or not. She's finally begun her apprenticeship, and can't wait to be a warrior. All in all, she's a pretty typical, starry-eyed young clan cat who thinks she's invincible- but there's plenty to come in life, in due time.
